LABUAN BAJO - RUTENG - BAJAWA - RIUNG - MONI - MAUMERE / ENDE

The highlights of this trip include going to Kelimutu, 17 Islands National Park, and visiting Bena traditional village. You will also visit the spider web shaped rice fields (only in Flores), hot springs, and Blue Stone Beach. And you can't leave the island before stopping at the arak (local alcohol) process factory and trying the Florenese favorite beverage.

Bajawa to Riung

  • Bajawa after breakfast

  • Trekking watu nari hill

  • So'a hotspring

  • Riung

  • Watu mitong hill sunset

DAY 4

Riung 17 island by Boat

* Ontoloe island ( Drakula flores )

* Tembang island

* Rutong island

* And Snorkling some place

  • Back to Riung

DAY 5

Riung to Moni

* Blue stone beach, relax and lunch

* Wolo gai village

( stay in moni at guest house )

 

DAY6

MONI TO MAUMERE / ENDE

  • Early morning drive to kelimutu volcano at 04:00 am for sunris

  • Back to hotel for breakfast

    After breakfast keep drive continue to Ende / Maumere for your airport or hotel

(possible to camp on 17 island area if you are interested for camping on island we prepare a tent, mattress, pillow, sleeping bag to make you feel confortable)

Hotels will be arranged based on the number of people and availability during the time of your trip. Standard hotel rooms include either one queen or two twin beds, bathroom with shower and western toilet, towels, and breakfast. Hotels do not have air condition

Prepare for your trip

Flores is a large, mountainous island which results in temperature changes from one city to the next. Make sure you bring your swimsuit, sunscreen, hat, etc. but also bring clothes for colder temperatures. It gets chilly at night in the mountains. Along with your sandals bring shoes for trekking and a day pack for day trips/over nights. A light rain jacket and bug spray are good to bring, especially during rainy season. Bring clothes and shoes that are comfortable, life on the island is casual. Please dress conservatively while visiting traditional villages.

Wifi on the island is limited. Bring a book or deck of cards, or whatever entertainment that doesn't require Wifi if you would like.
