The highlights of this trip include going to kelimutu and visiting Waerebo traditional village. You will also visit the spider web shaped rice fields (only in Flores), hot springs, and Blue Stone Beach. And you can't leave the island before stopping at the arak (local alcohol) process factory and trying the Florenese favorite beverage.

Wae Rebo to Ruteng

Ruteng to Bajawa

  • Arak proses factory

  • Mala nage hot springs

  • Bena traditional village

  • Wolo bobo hill

  • Bajawa

DAY 4

Bajawa to Moni

  • So’a hot spring

  • Blue stone beach ( lunch place )

  • Wolo Gai traditional village

  • Moni

    ( stay in moni at guest house )

 

DAY 5

MONI TO MAUMERE / ENDE

  • Early morning drive to kelimutu volcano at 04:00 am for sunris

  • Back to hotel for breakfast

    After breakfast keep drive continue to Ende / Maumere for your airport or hotel

( in waerebo village everyone stay and sleep togethere at traditional house, there’s no private room. Will get dinner and breakfast )

Prepare for your trip

Flores is a large, mountainous island which results in temperature changes from one city to the next. Make sure you bring your swimsuit, sunscreen, hat, etc. but also bring clothes for colder temperatures. It gets chilly at night in the mountains. Along with your sandals bring shoes for trekking and a day pack for day trips/over nights. A light rain jacket and bug spray are good to bring, especially during rainy season. Bring clothes and shoes that are comfortable, life on the island is casual. Please dress conservatively while visiting traditional villages.
